What People Say

X-STEM gives aspiring scientists and engineers the opportunity to meet some influential folks making
changes in the world. As a presenter, I got inspired by the waves of enthusiastic students ready to meet
the challenges of the future head on. That's truly inspiring.

X-STEM Speaker Marcus Eriksen

Outstanding! I attended with my wife, daughters & grandsons. We started with the X-STEM sessions on Thursday. Every presenter was world class & all of the presentations were loaded with information & inspiration. This high level of excellence continued throughout the entire weekend of the STEM festival. The exhibitors were also top notch and extremely well staffed. I have participated in and/or attended many festivals & conferences all over the world & I would rate this STEM Festival as vastly superior to anything!

Ron, Attendee

Thank you for putting on this amazing event. My students left inspired to pursue careers in STEM. The wide variety of speakers that presented meant that all of the students had role models that they could identify with.

I had an incredible time speaking at X-STEM. It was really motivating to have the students come speak to
me after my talk and tell me how I inspired them to keep following their passions and to try STEM. The
goal of this event was to get students excited about STEM, and it was very obvious that this goal was
achieved! It was an honor to be a student motivating other students!

X-STEM Speaker Emily Cross

I’m always surprised by which scientist inspires the kids I escort to X-STEM. This year it was the mathematician - the kids treated him like a rock star - how cool is that!

Our group of students were mesmerized by the speakers. Each speaker was inspiring but not just about X-
STEM. Speakers inspired students to be great citizens of the world.
