X-STEM All Access

We are excited to feature you in an upcoming episode!

PLEASE REVIEW THE RECORDING PROCESS BELOW:
You will video record yourself answering a list of questions and send us the video file(s). An X-STEM team member will join the video recording virtually to walk you through the questions. This is done by having TWO DEVICES setup:

1) a primary phone/tablet, laptop or camera set up to video record your responses, and
2) a secondary phone/tablet or laptop connected to our team through Zoom (or other program - Zoom will NOT record)

The list of approximately 7 questions will be provided in advance. The episode's host will be recorded separately and will not be present during your recording.

To assist us in planning, please provide the following:

Recording Setup & Equipment

We will schedule a virtual recording session with the speaker.(Required)

During this virtual session, the speaker will video record themselves answering the questions and provide us with the unedited video file(s).
X-STEM team members will be present to walk the speaker through the questions and advise on any production-related items. This is done by having the speaker set up TWO DEVICES:
1) a primary phone/tablet, laptop or camera set up to video record their responses, and
2) a secondary phone/tablet or laptop connected to our team through Zoom (or other program - Zoom will NOT record)

In most cases, built-in laptop cameras do not provide the highest quality image. For your recording, please use an external webcam connected to a computer or a phone/tablet camera with a resolution of 1080p or 4K.

Science Spark, a 501(c)(3) non-profit science outreach organization, will produce X-STEM episodes and make them available on our website for non-commercial, educational purposes.
