Diana Iracheta is a strong advocate for Latinas in Engineering. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University, and works as a Manufacturing Engineer, focused on Automation design at Amsted Automotive. Diana founded Latina Engineer in 2019, now with a network of over 12,000. She shares her journey and creates resources for students and young professionals in hopes to increase the representation of Latinas in Engineering. In 2020, she launched the first International Latina Engineer Week conference. In 2021, she started the Diana Iracheta Foundation NFP to create scholarships for minorities in STEM.
