Optical Engineering Workshop hosted by Edmund Optics

Explore the fascinating world of optics! Optics manipulate and move light in order to have the light perform a certain task. In this workshop, you will use optics to build a hologram and a cellphone microscope. You will also create a polarized “stain glass” piece of art. Through these activities, you will discover that optics are everywhere, that they are an essential part to our everyday lives, and that they are vital components to emerging technologies, such as autonomous vehicles and augmented reality.
