Joe Sanchez is the Director of R&D Science Engagement and STEM Programs at AstraZeneca

In his role as Director of R&D Science Engagement and STEM Programs,  Joe Sanchez is responsible for cultivating AstraZeneca’s strategic partnerships in the BioHealth Capital Region and national R&D hubs to accelerate the growth of the public-private-academe ecosystem. He represents (R&D + Ops) on the many government, educational and industry-peer boards and committees to provide thought leadership that advances AstraZeneca’s strategic objectives.  Additionally, Joe leads AstraZeneca’s national STEM programming efforts to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through outreach and partnerships.
