Maggy Benson of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

Maggy Benson manages the Distance Learning program at the National Museum of Natural History, where she is the Co-Executive Producer and Host of the award-winning Smithsonian Science How program. Science How pioneers new models for using digital media and technology to engage youth audiences, particularly those from under-resourced communities and from populations that are under-represented in accessing STEM resources. Prior to this position, she was the community manager and producer for the Webby-Award winning Smithsonian Ocean Portal.
