Susie Martínez, a former NASA engineer and flight controller, currently works as a payload developer in the space industry. Previously, Susie serviced the International Space Station as an operations controller, helping the astronauts do their science. Formerly, she was an additive manufacturing engineer at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center where her main project was the In-Space Manufacturing Group and working to put more manufacturing capabilities on the International Space Station! Susie started her account @AdAstraSu to showcase how there is space for women in STEM.  “We just have to forge our own place!”
