My 12 year old son attended this because I thought it would be an "enrichment" to add onto his online school (due to quarantine). I had zero intention of watching it myself. But I was IMMEDIATELY sucked in by Mr. Fascinate and just continued to stay sucked in by the guests. I mean seriously, I thought the whole thing was riveting. What an amazing opportunity for students! You couldn't have got more top tier as far as speakers and the wide range of professions highlighted was great. I was blown away.

Attendee, X-STEM All Access

As an educator, I am very thankful for my students being able to "interact" with speakers they would otherwise not ever have access to. My students were most impressed with the career transitions of some of the presenters. During our post-event discussions, they also appreciated the exposure to career fields that they were not even aware of -- and the importance of communication skills for every career -- the importance of being able to ‘tell your story’.

Although 2020 was incredibly challenging for our community, one of the highlights for our Public Engagement team was NASA’s presence at SciFest. NASA was delighted to be involved with USASEF and reached existing and new audiences via the virtual USA Science and Engineering Festival, with nine separate exhibits and multiple speakers over the course of the event.

NASA, SciFest Exhibitor and Festival Partner

I’ve learned so much about STEM because of SciFest! It greatly broadened my knowledge about career options and showed many new and incredibly useful applications of STEM. It also introduced great resources that I can use in the future! I’ve learned a lot!

Experiments were engaging and presenters helped explain the background knowledge very clearly and concisely. I can't wait to show them and try it with my students!

Educator Attendee, Inspire Educators Workshops

Congratulations, Festival Folk! As CEO of the Planetary Society I was thrilled to be part of the fun on stage and at our booth. As an engineer I was delighted to see so many young people and adults attending and participating. Thanks to all 365,000 of you, who showed up to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Together, we're changing the world.

It is not only important, it is arguably our duty as a world-leading health organization to not
only set standards and execute on operational requirements, but to generate awareness, educate the public,
and drive the next generation of scientists and leaders. Supporting grassroots and formal educational avenues
will generate critical long-term returns.
