For the third year running, Science Buddies is proud to join the USA Science and Engineering Festival in 2018 as a media partner. We have been so pleased to partner with an organization that shares our vision of inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers by continuously finding new and exciting ways to present science, technology, engineering, and math to our nation’s youth.
Science Buddies, through its resource-rich website, empowers K-12 students, teachers, and parents to quickly and easily find FREE projects and help in all areas of science, from astronomy to zoology. Science Buddies helps put scientist-authored resources at everyone’s fingertips, including how-to guides, project ideas, project support, and career information, making science fun and accessible by all.
Reaching 18 million students, teachers, and parents each year, Science Buddies’ Media Partnership provided a comprehensive platform for reaching the different Festival audiences before, during, and after the event. For Science Buddies, the festival proved to be a unique opportunity to engage face-to-face with thousands of visitors excited to explore STEM.
Science Buddies’ participation in the festival has helped the organization raise their profile with potential partners and supporters. Part of Science Buddies’ goal is to spread the word about the massive library of science fair project ideas, activities, and resources available free of charge to anyone who registers with them online. From the Expo Hall to the X-STEM Symposium, the festival allowed Science Buddies to cultivate and nurture relationships with like-minded colleagues in a setting that is fun, forward-thinking and highly energizing.
